Why cannot we cover full baldness through hair restoration surgery in a single procedure?
It is a simple demand and supply principle. Our scalp donor area does not have enough follicles to cover full baldness in a single procedure. Therefore, to cover the full area, this procedure needs multiple procedures so that after the first session, donor area heal and hair come closer with each other in a few months. After complete healing and back as well as side scalp skin contraction, the surgeon evaluates it and lets you know whether it is enough for the second procedure or not. If it is inadequate and can’t cover the recipient area, then hair from other parts of the body can be used.
